Influenced by thinkers such as Erich Fromm, Jiddu Krishnamurti and Aldous Huxley, and informed by artists including Jackson Pollock, Anselm Kiefer, Willem de Kooning and Paul Klee, Stoop's work exists at the intersection of reflection and gesture.
He has exhibited internationally in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, New York, London and Basel. His work is held by private collectors in Germany, Los Angeles, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands and Italy. He is represented by galleries in Dubai, San Sebastián, Rome and Miami.
